An iconic American food is pancakes. Without these fluffy piles of delight stacked high and served with syrup, butter, and all of your favorite toppings, breakfast, and brunch would be wholly lacking.
Although you’ve probably had pancakes every morning for as long as you can remember, these adorable little fellas have been around for thousands of years.
Anything from a silver dollar-sized pancake to a circle as big as your pan can be fashioned into a pancake.
When the top surface of your pancake starts to develop little craters, it’s time to turn it. Cook the pancake until it is fully cooked and golden brown on both sides.
